The MB&F M.A.D.1 Red Edition is more than a timepiece - it’s a celebration of independent watchmaking at its most daring and imaginative. Conceived by Max Büsser as part of the M.A.D.Editions line, this model brings the playful ingenuity of MB&F’s haute horlogerie universe into a more accessible, yet equally exhilarating, form.
At the heart of the M.A.D.1 Red Edition is a wonderfully unconventional movement turned inside-out. Instead of hiding its mechanics, the watch proudly showcases its oscillating mass on the dial side. The result is an entrancing triple-bladed rotor that spins with incredible energy, giving the watch a dynamic, kinetic personality. This inverted Miyota 821A-based movement has been meticulously reworked to maximize visual impact—every turn of the rotor feels like mechanical fireworks on your wrist.
Signature MB&F creativity shines through in the M.A.D.1 Red. The vibrant red accents add intensity without overshadowing the sculptural case and futuristic structure.
