We are proud to present this exquisite and exceptionally rare A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1, reference 110.029, crafted in solid 18k white gold and featuring an elegant natural mother-of-pearl dial. Accompanied by its original box and papers, this example represents one of the most beautiful and desirable configurations of the modern Lange 1 family.
Introduced in the 1990s as the rebirth of German haute horlogerie, the Lange 1 stands as the definitive symbol of A. Lange & Söhne’s modern era — its asymmetric dial layout, outsized date, and perfectly balanced proportions have since become hallmarks of the brand.
The 38.5 mm white gold case remains in excellent condition with sharp lugs, crisp hallmarks, and its original satin and polished finishes. The iridescent mother-of-pearl dial is simply mesmerizing, displaying subtle tonal shifts under varying light, while the applied white-gold markers and blued hands provide exquisite contrast and legibility.
Inside beats the hand-finished in-house caliber L901.0 — a manual-wound movement with twin barrels for a 72-hour power reserve, beautifully decorated with the three-quarter German silver plate, gold chatons, and hand-engraved balance cock, visible through the sapphire exhibition back.
Produced in very limited numbers, the reference 110.029 with mother-of-pearl dial is among the most refined and collectible variants of the early Lange 1 production, prized for its quiet elegance and understated luxury.
