Rare 1980s Design Elegance from the Royal Oak Legacy

We are pleased to present this exceptionally rare and elegant Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Rectangular Quartz, reference 6014BA, crafted entirely in 18k yellow gold.

Adorned with a factory diamond-set bezel, and accompanied by its original AP presentation box. This piece dates to circa 1983.

First introduced during the 1980s, the Royal Oak 6014BA is a lesser-seen yet deeply distinctive interpretation of Gérald Genta’s iconic design, offering a refined rectangular case profile while retaining the integrated bracelet and industrial elegance that defines the Royal Oak lineage.

The 28mm x 40mm rectangular case is rendered in solid 18k yellow gold, harmoniously paired with an integrated gold bracelet with diamond setting rows, that wears effortlessly on the wrist. 

The bezel is delicately set with brilliant-cut diamonds, accentuating the geometric lines of the case without compromising the model’s minimalist sophistication.

The champagne-toned dial features applied gold hour markers and the classic “Audemars Piguet” signature at 12 o'clock, powered by a reliable AP quartz movement — an ultra-thin caliber chosen for precision and elegance during the quartz era.

This piece is offered in excellent vintage condition, with crisp hallmarks, strong case definition, and a bracelet that remains tight for its age. Having just been serviced, it is ready for daily wear or careful collection.
