This is a mint Rolex vintage Quartz,Ref. 5100/9, Oyster in 18k white gold with 18k white gold bracelet.
Comes with the original describtion booklet and warranty papers - Austria, 1973.
Extremely rare and wanted collectors item!
Was only manufactured between 1970-72.
Only limited Rolex model - 1.000 exampels (most of them in yellow gold and very few exampels in 18k white gold) - this is no. 186.
Has got the legendary Beta21 build in, an early quartz version with tuning fork caliber!
The ref. 5100 was launched to introduce Rolex to the quartz market. It's among the first models equipped with a sapphire glas and a cyclops lens. (Guido Mondani, 100 years of Rolex, 2008, Page 142-143)
Underwent Rolex Geneva service in jan. 2003!
