This is a very good Rolex Datejust Oysterquartz ref.17000 in stainless steel with Oyster bracelet.
Manufactured 1977, this watch has got a fantastic 70ies design.
Only about 22.000 pieces are said to be produced and that is of course just a fraction of the regulat Datejust model.
Legendary mountain giants like Sir Edmond Hillary (steel and gold) used to wear the Oyster quartz in that period.
