This is an excellent Rolex vintage early Oyster ref-2136 in 9k rose gold with leather strap.
Manufactured in the year 1938, the Oyster models became famous after a young english lady crossed the chanel in 15h and 15minutes wearing one (Mercedes Gleitze).
The first realy Oyster Rolex, however in an octagonal case then.
The beautiful watch has got a white restaurated dial and is in a great all over condition.
A milestone for the watch history and the grandmother of all Rolex Oyster models of today.
