The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Ref. 5167A-001 represents the perfect synthesis of casual elegance and haute horlogerie. Introduced in 2007 as the successor to the original Aquanaut “Jumbo” (Ref. 5065), the 5167A maintains the collection’s contemporary spirit while refining the proportions and elevating the overall wearability.

Encased in stainless steel with a diameter of 40.8 mm, this reference stands for modernity and understated sportiness. The signature embossed black dial—reminiscent of the globe’s longitudinal and latitudinal lines—features applied Arabic numerals and luminous hands, ensuring superb legibility under all conditions. A discreet date aperture at 3 o’clock adds a practical complication to this otherwise minimalist design.

Powered by Patek Philippe’s self-winding Caliber 324 S C, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement is beautifully finished and bears the Patek Philippe Seal—testament to the maison’s uncompromising standards of craftsmanship and precision.

This example is presented in an excellent condition and is offered as a full set with the normally factory-installed original Patek Philippe stainless steel bracelet and the mounted tropic style rubber strap.

The 5167/1A-001 was discontinued in July 2025 with the steel bracelet no more available but the 5167A-001 remains one of the most sought-after contemporary sports watches, effortlessly bridging the gap between luxury and versatility.
