We are very proud to offer you this very good to excellent vintage CARRERA CHRONOMATIC Reference 1158 in 18k gold with leather strap and 18k HEUER gold buckle.
Manufactured in 1968, this model was the first version of the 1158 and has CHRONOMATIC written above the CARRERA logo. The case is in polished 18k yellow gold and the legendary HEUER/BREITLING/BUREN movement cal. 11 is ticking.
Tachymeter scale is a 50 to 200. Serial number is 1742xx.

In 1968, after its introduction, only the first batch of the 1158 came with the `BREITLING CHRONOMATIC` dial, and after a very short time were repalced by the CARRERA dial. (Arno Haslinger)
So its a well bespoke piece.
We love this perfect two tone dial with original Tritium hour markers and hands.
