Limited to just 250 pieces worldwide, this special edition celebrates Zenith’s deep chronograph heritage and the revival of its triple calendar complication—a feature historically linked to the brand’s iconic El Primero line. Combining vintage inspiration with contemporary refinement, it stands as one of the most elegant and thoughtfully executed Zenith collaborations to date.

The 38mm stainless steel case retains the perfect proportions of the original 1969 Chronomaster design, featuring polished and brushed surfaces that emphasize its timeless silhouette. Its silver opaline dial is beautifully balanced, featuring day, date, and month apertures, with blue and grey subdials arranged in the signature tri-compax layout. A moonphase display at 6 o’clock completes the harmonious aesthetic, while the clean typography and subtle HODINKEE design cues add a modern, minimalist sophistication.

At the heart of this piece beats the Zenith El Primero Caliber 3610, a high-frequency automatic chronograph movement running at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz) and offering 60 hours of power reserve. This modern evolution of the legendary El Primero integrates the triple calendar and moonphase functions with impressive precision and finishing, visible through the sapphire crystal caseback engraved “HODINKEE Limited Edition – One of 250”.
