Rolex Submariner Date "Hulk" Ref. 116610LV, Stainless Steel, Green Dial, Green Ceramic Bezel, 2020, Wempe Germany

Few modern Rolex watches have earned a nickname as fast as the Hulk. When the 116610LV was presented in 2010, it was the first Submariner with both a green dial and a green ceramic bezel. Collectors loved it from the start, and since its production ended in 2020 it has become one of the most sought after steel Submariners of recent years.

The 40 mm Oyster case is made of Oystersteel, the highly corrosion resistant steel alloy Rolex uses for all its steel watches. The case has the strong profile and broad lugs of this generation, which give the watch a sturdy, confident look on the wrist. With the Triplock crown it is water resistant to 300 meters. The green Cerachrom bezel insert is made of ceramic, so its color stays bright and it is practically scratch resistant.

The dial is finished in a green sunburst, which changes from a bright emerald tone in sunlight to an almost black green in the shade. That play of light is what makes the Hulk so special, and it never looks the same twice. The large "Maxi" markers are filled with Chromalight and glow blue in the dark. The Cyclops lens magnifies the date at 3 o’clock.

Inside works the Rolex caliber 3135, a self-winding movement that is regarded as one of the most reliable Rolex has ever built. The Oyster bracelet closes with the Oysterlock clasp and the Glidelock extension, which lets you adjust the length in small steps without any tools.

This watch dates from 2020, the last year of production, and was originally sold by Wempe in Germany, LC100. 

It is in excellent condition and comes with box and papers, green leather card holder, describtion booklet.
