We are delighted to offer this very good example of the iconic Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller “James Cameron” Ref. 116660, crafted in stainless steel and fitted with the robust Oyster bracelet.
This now discontinued model, introduced in tribute to filmmaker James Cameron’s historic solo dive to the Mariana Trench, features the distinctive blue-to-black gradient dial—often referred to as the "D-Blue"—symbolizing the descent from sunlight to the ocean’s deepest depths.
Powered by the reliable caliber 3135, this version represents the forerunner generation of the Deepsea James Cameron line, prior to its later updates.
With an extraordinary water resistance of 3,900 meters (12,800 feet), the Deepsea remains one of the most capable professional dive watches ever produced by Rolex, and a modern icon in its own right.
