Known since 1956 as "the president's watch," the Day-Date has remained Rolex's most prestigious model for good reason, and this 40mm execution in solid yellow gold represents the collection in its purest, most classic form.

The 40mm case is crafted entirely from 18k yellow gold with Rolex's monobloc Oyster architecture, topped by a fluted bezel and worn on the semi-circular three-piece link President bracelet with a concealed folding Crownclasp, the pairing that gave the model its nickname.

The gold stick dial keeps the layout clean and understated, with applied baton hour markers and matching yellow gold hands filled with Chromalight, the day spelled out in full through the aperture at twelve o'clock and the date magnified by the Cyclops lens at three.

Inside runs the caliber 3255, Rolex's own automatic movement with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, delivering a genuine 70 hours of power reserve and full Superlative Chronometer certification.
