Long before black coated Rolex sports watches became a broader trend, Pro Hunter established itself as one of the leading names in the space, and this Deepsea Red is a genuine example of the workshop's signature style applied to one of Rolex's toughest tool watches.

The base watch is a Rolex Deepsea, a 44mm steel case rated to 3,900 meters with a helium escape valve, built to genuinely withstand saturation diving depths rather than just look the part. Pro Hunter's treatment applies a matte black DLC, diamond-like carbon, coating across the case, bezel and crown, a finish specifically chosen for its scratch resistance as well as its stealth appearance, transforming the watch's presence entirely while leaving the underlying Rolex engineering untouched.

The black dial carries the Pro Hunter branding picked out in red, the detail that gives this particular execution its "Red" name, a small but distinctive signature against the otherwise fully blacked out case and bezel.

Inside, the watch retains its original Rolex automatic movement, fully serviced and untouched by the customization process, meaning the toughness and reliability underneath the coating remains exactly what Rolex built it to be.
