We are proud to present this exceptional Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph Ref. 5980/1A-001, one of the most desirable modern interpretations of the iconic Nautilus line - and long discontinued. Combining the unmistakable design language of the Nautilus with a highly sophisticated in-house chronograph movement, this model represents a milestone in contemporary watchmaking.

Crafted in stainless steel and produced in 2010, this outstanding example is offered in excellent condition and comes as a complete full set with its original box and papers, making it a particularly attractive piece for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The 40.5 mm stainless steel case features the unmistakable porthole-inspired design that has defined the Nautilus since its introduction in 1976 by the legendary watch designer Gérald Genta. The rounded octagonal bezel, beautifully integrated bracelet, and slim yet robust construction combine sportiness with refined elegance, making the Nautilus one of the most recognizable luxury sports watches ever created.

The striking blue horizontally embossed dial is a hallmark of the Nautilus collection. Its subtle gradient tones and refined finishing create exceptional depth, while luminous hour markers and hands ensure superb legibility. The dial also features the distinctive chronograph monocounter at 6 o’clock, which integrates both the 60-minute and 12-hour chronograph displays in a single subdial, preserving the dial’s clean and balanced appearance.

Powering the watch is the in-house automatic caliber CH 28-520 C, the first chronograph movement entirely developed and manufactured by Patek Philippe for the Nautilus collection. This sophisticated movement features a column wheel and vertical clutch system, ensuring smooth chronograph operation, high precision, and exceptional reliability. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement showcases the refined finishing standards for which the manufacture is renowned.

The watch is fitted with its original integrated stainless steel Nautilus bracelet, perfectly complementing the case and reinforcing the model’s distinctive design.
