Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Ref. 5035G-031 18K White Gold Box & Papers 2003 Excellent Full Set

We are pleased to present one of the most quietly significant complications ever developed by Patek Philippe: the Annual Calendar, Ref. 5035G-031. Introduced in 1996 as the very first Annual Calendar in watchmaking history, the Reference 5035 established a complication that has since become a cornerstone of the Patek Philippe collection — and this elegant 18-carat white gold example, presented with its grey dial, remains one of the most understated ways to own it.

The 37mm case follows the clean, restrained design language typical of Patek Philippe's dress watches of the era, its proportions perfectly suited to both formal and everyday wear. A sapphire crystal front and a transparent sapphire display back allow an unobstructed view of the self-winding Calibre 315 within, while the case retains the timeless elegance that has made Patek Philippe dress watches so enduringly collectible.

The grey roman dial, paired with luminous silver-tone hands and applied markers, offers a refined and highly legible backdrop for the watch's annual calendar display. The day is shown at 9 o'clock, the month at 3 o'clock, with a corresponding date display and a 24-hour indicator at 6 o'clock — a beautifully balanced layout that requires only a single manual correction each year, at the end of February, rather than the four corrections needed by a standard calendar watch.

At the heart of the watch beats the self-winding Calibre 315 S QA, one of the movements that helped define Patek Philippe's modern annual calendar mechanism — offering genuine horological sophistication in a wonderfully wearable package, at a fraction of the mechanical complexity (and historically, the price) of a full perpetual calendar.

Completing the watch is its original leather strap with an 18-carat white gold buckle, offering classic comfort and completing the understated elegance of this reference.
