This limited edition of 1500 pieces, was released in 2011 as a tribute to Panerai’s historical connection with the Italian Navy. This highly sought-after reference stands out with its dark brown 47 mm case, made of Panerai Composite – an ultra-light, high-tech ceramic material created by chemically transforming aluminum through electrochemical oxidation. It offers extreme scratch resistance and a matte, stealthy finish unlike anything else in the Panerai lineup.

Its sandwich-style dial in deep brown/black with vintage-toned luminous markers and "Marina Militare" inscription is a nod to Panerai’s heritage supplying instruments to Italian naval commandos.

Movement: Panerai Caliber P.2002/7 – in-house manual wind movement with an impressive 8-day power reserve, displayed via a linear indicator on the dial.

The "Marina Militare" inscription is reserved for only the most historically significant Panerai models. This reference pays tribute to the brand’s roots as a supplier of precision diving instruments for the Italian Navy’s elite frogmen during WWII. The oversized Radiomir cushion case, wire lugs, and sandwich dial design stay faithful to the original military prototypes of the 1930s and 1940s, while the use of composite material brings the model into the 21st century.
