OMEGA Vintage Speedmaster Professional "Moonwatch De Luxe" Reference BA145.022 18k Yellow Gold Bracelet 1970 Rare Find

We are proud to offer you this exceptionally rare Omega Speedmaster Professional "Moonwatch De Luxe", reference BA145.022, manufactured in 18 ct yellow gold and dating to approximately 1970. Presented in very good vintage condition, this landmark reference occupies a unique place in horological history as the first commemorative gold Speedmaster produced following the Apollo 11 Moon landing.

Introduced in 1969 to celebrate mankind's first steps on the Moon, the BA145.022 was produced in a limited series and became legendary for its historical significance.

The watch features the distinctive burgundy red tachymeter bezel surrounding a rich gold dial with black onyx hour markers and matching black hands, creating one of the most elegant and recognizable designs in the Speedmaster lineage. 

The 42 mm asymmetrical case is crafted entirely from 18 ct yellow gold and is paired with its original matching gold bracelet, creating a luxurious interpretation of Omega's most celebrated chronograph. 

Powering the watch is the Omega Calibre 861 - LEMANIA based, a manually wound chronograph movement renowned for its robustness, reliability, and historical importance. Developed as the successor to the celebrated Calibre 321, the Calibre 861 accompanied numerous NASA space missions and remains one of the most respected chronograph movements of its era.

Dating to April, 30th 1970, this remarkable example represents an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire one of the most historically significant and collectible vintage Omega references. Well-preserved examples of the BA145.022, particularly those retaining their original gold bracelet, have become exceptionally difficult to source and continue to be highly prized by collectors worldwide.
