IWC Portugieser - Reference 545406 - 18k Roségold - Box & Papers 2012 - Excellent Condition

This IWC Portugieser Hand-Wound is a stunning embodiment of timeless elegance and purist watchmaking, capturing the legendary design language of the historic nautical instruments from the 1930s. Accompanied by its original box and papers, and dating from 2012 in an exceptional, new-like condition, this 44-millimeter masterpiece is fashioned from warm 18K rose gold.  

At the core of its sophisticated aesthetic is a refined slate-grey dial featuring classic applied rose gold Arabic numerals, delicate railway-track minute markers, and slender feuille hands. A traditional small-seconds subdial is cleanly positioned at the 6 o'clock mark, preserving a remarkably clean and symmetrical layout beneath an arched-edge sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coatings on both sides.  

Driven by the mechanical IWC-manufactured Calibre 98300, the watch honors traditional pocket-watch architecture. The movement features exquisite Côtes de Genève and perlage decorations, fully visible through an exhibition sapphire crystal case back. Providing a 46-hour power reserve, the hand-wound mechanism offers an authentic, tactile connection to the heritage of haute horlogerie. The dress-watch profile is completed by a fine black alligator leather strap secured by an 18k rose gold pin buckle.
