IWC presents itself as a leader in ceramic watches and this DA VINCI is one of their first steps on that way. First introduced in 1986, about 200 ceramic DA VINCI have been manufactured in total. Most of them in black ceramic and 18k yellow gold, much fewer, about 20-30 in white ceramic with 18k yellow gold and only FOUR pieces in black ceramic and 18k white gold. To make it even rarer, this DA VINCI also has the solid 18k white gold IWC bracelet!
Produced and delivered around 1995 this DA VINCI CHRONOGRAPH was originally sold in 2004.
This piece is not only super rare, but also in an awesome condtion and full set.
The white dial featues a perpetual calendar with english day, date, month, year indicator, moon phase and a chronograph fuction in a 39mm case and powered by the ETA based IWC cal. 79261 with a power reserve of 44 hours.
Ultra rare masterpiece for a ladies or gentlemans wrist and a milestone in the history of watches.
