This excellent Czapek Antarctique "Terre Adélie" Secret Alloy is a significant milestone for modern independent horology, serving as the debut model for Czapek's entry into the luxury sports watch market. Limited to a production run of 99 pieces worldwide, this 2021-registered timepiece features a well-proportioned 40.5mm stainless steel case with an integrated bracelet. The case geometry balances a sporty aesthetic with a slim profile, offering excellent wearable proportions and a distinct presence on the wrist.

The core of this limited edition is its anthracite-grey "Secret Alloy" dial, developed in partnership with the specialized dial makers at Metalem. Utilizing a traditional lamé technique, the surface is hand-grained to create fine vertical lines. This finish allows the metallic grey dial to catch the light from different angles, providing a clean contrast against the polished indices and hands.

Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the in-house SXH5 automatic movement. It is designed with an off-center micro-rotor made from recycled platinum and seven skeletonized bridges inspired by historical pocket watches. Delivering a 56-hour power reserve and paired with an ergonomic integrated bracelet system, this 2021 Terre Adélie represents a rare and well-executed piece for collectors of independent watchmaking.
