Cartier Santos de Cartier – Ref.WSSA0029 – Stainless Steel – Box & Papers (2025) – Excellent Condition – Full Set

The Cartier Santos de Cartier WSSA0029 is more than just a watch – it is an icon of watchmaking and an expression of an extraordinary friendship. Back in 1904, Louis Cartier fulfilled his friend, Brazilian aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont's wish to be able to read the time comfortably on his wrist while flying. This led to the creation of one of the world's first wristwatches – and a design legend that continues to inspire to this day.

This medium-sized Santos model (35.1 mm) combines historical design elements with contemporary technology. The striking stainless steel case with its characteristic visible screws, the harmoniously curved lugs and the silver-coloured opaline dial with Roman numerals give the watch its unmistakable aesthetic. Blued sword-shaped hands and a polygonal crown with a faceted synthetic spinel underline its iconic character.

Inside, the automatic 1847 MC manufacture calibre is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. With a height of only 8.83 mm, the watch is pleasantly flat and elegant on the wrist. Its water resistance to 10 bar also makes it suitable for everyday use.

The stainless steel bracelet features the innovative SmartLink system for easy length adjustment. The set also includes a high-quality calfskin leather strap with an interchangeable double folding clasp in steel. Thanks to the QuickSwitch system, both straps can be changed in seconds without tools – perfect for business, leisure or special occasions.
