The Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph Reference AB0118A61C1P2 from approximately 2022 embodies the elegant heritage of Breitling's mid-20th-century watchmaking, shifting away from pure utilitarian tool watches toward sophisticated, dress-casual style. Designed originally in the 1940s to merge everyday wearability with refined aesthetics, this modern Premier iteration honors that legacy through meticulous craftsmanship and sophisticated proportions.

The 42mm stainless steel case features polished finishes and distinctive rectangular chronograph pushers that distinguish the Premier line from Breitling's more rugged aviation models. It is fitted with a non-rotating smooth bezel and a cambered sapphire crystal with glare-proofing on both sides, ensuring a clear view of the dial while maintaining a 100-meter water resistance rating.

The vibrant blue dial serves as a striking backdrop for contrasting black chronograph sub-dials in a classic bicompax layout, paired with applied Arabic numerals and sleek baton hands. A subtle date window is positioned at the 6 o'clock mark, maintaining structural symmetry across the face of the watch.

Powering this timepiece is the Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01, a self-contained automatic mechanical chronograph movement entirely developed in-house. Certified as a chronometer by the COSC, it features a column-wheel mechanism and a vertical clutch, ensuring smooth operation of the chronograph functions alongside a generous power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
