Released to commemorate the Queen Elizabeth II Cup, one of Hong Kong's best known racing occasions, this limited edition brings an unusual bi-metal execution to the standard Royal Oak Selfwinding, produced in a run of just 200 pieces.
The 41mm case is titanium, paired with a polished 950 platinum octagonal bezel secured by eight signature screws and platinum center links running through the titanium bracelet, giving the watch real visual weight without the full mass of a solid platinum case. The case back is engraved "QE II CUP 2017 LIMITED EDITION.“
The silver Grande Tapisserie dial keeps a restrained, monochromatic character fitting for the commemorative purpose, with white gold applied hour markers and Royal Oak hands filled with luminescent coating.
Inside runs the caliber 3120, Audemars Piguet's own automatic movement with 40 jewels across 280 components, delivering around 60 hours of power reserve.
