ROLEX Vintage TURN-O-GRAPH DATEJUST reference 1628
We are delightet to offer you this very good vintage Rolex Turn-O-Graph Datejust in stainless steel on its stainless steel Jubilee bracelet with the folding clasp.
With the Serial Number in the 1.8 Million range this watch was manufactured in 1968.
Long discontinued modell line from Rolex, with its beginning in 1953. The Turn-O-Graph was the first commercially available Rolex watch with a rotating bezel that later became the standard in the iconic sports models Submariner and GMT-Master.
Beside the Turn-o-graph the watch is also know under the name Thunderbird, especially in North America, where this type of watch was given to a US Air Force aerobatic squadron that had the name Thunderbird, who used the rotating bezels for navigating flight calculations.
Timeless watch especially with the white gold bezel and silver dial, powered by the Chronometer certified automatic movement reference 1570 with a power reserve of 48 hours.
