We are very proud to offer you this very good to excellent ROLEX vintage DAYTONA COSMOGRAPH Ref.6263 BIG RED in stainless steel with its steel Oyster bracelet.
This very rare piece comes with the original box, description booklet and STITCHED WARRANTY PAPERS - Italy, 1984. No.876xxxx.
Only very few pieces came with those STICHED PAPERS, because they were produced only for Chronometer ROLEX watches and this one wasn`t.
The original black Tritium dial has the BIG RED DAYTONA writing. Only three Tritium hour makers are off, all other are well preserved. This 6263 is a quite late production from 1984, just before the first sapphire automatic DAYTONA showed up.
The black DAYTONA 6263 model are also called JEAN-PAUL BELMONDO, french action movie star, who wore this type of DAYTONA in some of his adventures in the 1970s. (L´ALPAGUEUR, PEUR SUR LA VILLE).
