We can offer you this excellent vintage OMEGA SEAMASTER 300 'BIG TRIANGLE', ref. 165.024, in stainless steel on leather strap.
Manufactured in 1967 this watch has got the OMEGA cal.552 ticking.
Very beautiful and excellent ORIGINAL bakelite-steel bezel.
In 1967 Omega started to produce this dial version. The biggest difference is the index marker at 12 o'clock, which changes from the sharpness of a small trapezoid to that large isosceles triangle, which is so impressive that it provides the nick name for this type of Seamaster 300, the 'BIG TRIANGLE'.
This dial may have been made by Omega in anticipation for a collaboration with the British Royal Navy, which asked specifically for the large triangle index marker at 12 o´clock on its watches.
