This is an excellent complicated Jaeger-LeCoultre/El Aguila Savonette Minute Repeater-Chronograph in 18k yellow gold. Rhodinated mouvement, Perlage und Cotes de Geneve.
Double Signed "El Aguila" and "Le Coultre & Cie".
The Signet "Le Coultre & Cie, as well as the Swiss Patent Mark (Brevet Suisse) is visible under the hour hammer,
when the Minute Repeater strikes.
Manufactured in around 1905, this watch has got a flawless enamel dial. It also possesses a rare extra glasscover under the 18K Back Dust Cover, which protected the movement and guaranateed the excellent condition of the mouvement over the years.
Ultra rare and exquisite gentleman complicated Hunter case pocket watch made in the turn of the last century.
From 1902 on Le Coultre & Cie delivered most of the Ebauches (base calibres) to Patek Philippe.
This complicated movmenet shows the excellence of craftmanship on the highest Level.
