Here at Bachmann & Scher we are proud to offer you Rolex vintage Explorer I ref. 1016 in stainless steel with rivet steel Oyster bracelet from 1966.
All authentic and very wanted collectors item.
Manufactured in 1966, this model has got a beautiful gild dial with slightly deepend hour marks and 3-6-9 numerals. The original dial with a fine discoloration around the center.
Legendary mountain climbers tool watch.
The Explorer became famous as the watch used by Tensing Norgay and Sir Edmond Hillary, when they successfuly climed Mt.Everest in 1953.
