Our remarks
We are very proud to offer you this excellent vintage PANERAI LUMINOR MARINA MILITARE Ref.6152-1 in stainless steel with original leather strap and buckle.
Manufactured by ROLEX between 1954 and 1955, this all authentic piece has got a Fab. Suisse ROLEX movement built in.
The back has the outer ingraving S.M.Z./M.M.142 and the inner side has got Montes ROLEX, Geneva, 6251 1 engraved. There is an iron protector shield cover over the movement.
The incredible beautiful all original Radium dial has the rare MARINA MILITARE written just under 12 oclock.
The original leather strap with the navel ship name GARIBALDI accompanies the watch.
This outstanding example is a bespoke piece by Jose Perez (Panerai Expert) and it is pictured at his PANERAI Time Machine poster as exaple of a Marina Militare - signed by Maria Panerai.
So here we dont only have a collectors dream watch and clearly undisputable investment piece, but one of best kept vintage Luminors.
Actually it is also one of the rarest ROLEX professional divers watches too, since movement and case were ROLEX made. Less than 20 pieces are known and only a few have the MM writing on the dial.
